Oforbuike Ewelukwa, MD, MSc, (pronounced Eh-Wey-Luke-Wah) is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology specializing in treating various digestive and liver diseases at Imperial Digestive Health Specialists PLLC in Katy, Texas. Dr. Ewelukwa completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wright State University School of Medicine, Dayton, Ohio, where he held the position of Resident Instructor for the Research Scholar Pathway. During the same time, he worked with the Mayo Clinic Division of Gastroenterology as a Research Fellow. He published peer-reviewed articles on Epidemiology and Health Policy relating to gastrointestinal disorders such as Diverticulitis, Hepatitis C, and F***l Incontinence. Dr. Ewelukwa then completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Liver Diseases, and Nutrition at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. He also holds a master’s degree in Public Health and Health Economics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. Dr. Ewelukwa is very detail-oriented and strives to provide comprehensive digestive and liver care to his patients.
