This one goes out to all my customers suffering from diabetes. YES sea moss can help with lowering blood sugar levels and lowering the bad cholesterol (of course, combined with a nutrient dense diet and exercise). This is due to the trace mineral Vanadium, which is found in sea moss.
Vanadium is a hard metal and small traces of the mineral is found in common foods like milk, pepper, olives, grains, etc. According to rxlist.com “Vanadium is used for treating diabetes, low blood sugar, high cholesterol, heart disease, tuberculosis, syphilis, a form of “tired blood” (anemia), and water retention (edema); for improving athletic performance in weight training; and for preventing cancer.” THIS IS ALSO THE REASON WHY I CHOOSE NOT TO ADD ANY SWEETENERS TO THE GEL, SO DIABETICS DO NOT SPIKE THEIR BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS.
A short google search will have you convinced you need to supplement with Vanadium to support your health, but beware of overconsumption as large quantities of vanadium can have side effects.
Don’t let anyone tell you about it! Try it for yourself!
