We talk often about VBAC rates — somewhere around 70–80%.
We quote the numbers. We calculate the odds.

But what we don’t do is celebrate the mothers who do the work —
who labor deeply, courageously —
and whose path, in the end, becomes another cesarean.

Sometimes redemption looks like a vaginal birth after cesarean.

Sometimes redemption looks like saying,
“I have done my work and now... we pivot.”

It was a privilege and an honor to walk alongside this mother —
a woman whose strength was not measured by the way her baby was born,
but by her presence,
her endurance,
and her steady, informed choice.

Join us for a relaxed morning of connection, conversation, and community. This gathering is free and open to everyone — whether you’ve birthed with us, are newly postpartum, or just looking for a welcoming space to connect.
We’ll start with a brief guided discussion on adjusting to life with a new baby, followed by plenty of time to visit, share experiences, and get to know other moms in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

✨ A Christmas Miracle x2 ✨

On Christmas Day, we had the incredible honor of welcoming twin baby boys into the world, arriving completely on their own time at 39 weeks gestation.

Their journey was nothing short of amazing:
• Baby A made his entrance breech
• Baby B waited patiently, then turned head down once his brother gave him some room, arriving two hours later

A truly awe-inspiring delivery and a testament to the beauty of physiologic birth, trust, and patience.

We are overflowing with gratitude for this sweet family, for the miracle of new lives, and for the incredible birth center staff who showed up with unwavering skill and compassion, even sacrificing time with their own families on a holiday to support this birth.

Welcome to the world, sweet boys. 💙💙

The Katy Birth Center staff gathered to celebrate Christmas and each other and to toast its continuation with new ownership as the current owners walk the path toward retirement. For some this was the last gathering. For others this was the beginning of many gatherings.
