~Learn more about Dr. Feezel.~
Dr. Ashlea Feezel was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a B.B.A. in Finance. After graduation, her career in business brought her to Houston, but it was through her volunteer work at a local children’s hospital that she discovered her true passion for medicine. She returned home for medical school at University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. Dr. Feezel went on to complete her residencies in Pediatrics and Child Neurology at UT Houston (Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, MD Anderson and Lyndon B. Johnson County Hospital). Additionally, throughout her final year of training, Dr. Feezel completed the Lonestar LEND fellowship in Leadership Education in autism and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities to better serve and advocate for her patients in all aspects of their lives. Dr. Feezel treats a diverse range of neurological conditions including developmental delay, ADHD, cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, headache, seizures, epilepsy, autism, movement disorders and tics. She is grateful her lifelong love of caring for children and passion for medicine allow her to partner with patients and families to achieve the best possible outcome.
