Spring Branch Community Health Center Our mission is to increase the number of healthy families in our community by providing high quality, comprehensive health services.

SBCHC is located on the west side of Houston, Texas, in Harris County. Harris County is the third most populous county in the United States with a population of over four (4) million people (U.S. Census, 2010), this represents a 20% increase in the population since 2000. Within Harris County approximately two million people are residents of Houston, the fourth largest city in the country. The Spring Branch target area, which has a total population of 127,402 residents, is largely a minority, low-income area dominated by Hispanics who speak Spanish as their first language.

The elegant reception, hosted at United Way of Greater Houston, brought together Latina leaders and distinguished guests to celebrate this year’s honorees. Dr. Trujillo was recognized for her strong leadership, her commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare, and her longstanding advocacy for the well-being of communities throughout the region. Her work continues to inspire women to take action towards building healthier and stronger communities, always leaving the door open for other women. Congratulations on your award!

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

This month, we raise awareness about colorectal cancer—a disease that is preventable, treatable, and highly beatable when detected early. Screenings are recommended beginning at age 45. Early detection saves lives. Prevention starts with awareness.

Do not ignore the signs or delay your screening. Start the conversation, schedule your test, and encourage someone you love to do the same. Your health matters.

We offer services such as Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Behavioral Health, Vaccinations, Physicals, Dental Services and more. Our missions is to increase the number of healthy families in our community by providing high quality, comprehensive healthcare services. We seek to be a champion in community wellness by providing integrated primary care services to all who seek it.
