Spring Branch Community Health Center Our mission is to increase the number of healthy families in our community by providing high quality, comprehensive health services.

SBCHC is located on the west side of Houston, Texas, in Harris County. Harris County is the third most populous county in the United States with a population of over four (4) million people (U.S. Census, 2010), this represents a 20% increase in the population since 2000. Within Harris County approximately two million people are residents of Houston, the fourth largest city in the country. The Spring Branch target area, which has a total population of 127,402 residents, is largely a minority, low-income area dominated by Hispanics who speak Spanish as their first language.

The CDC recommends everyone get the HPV vaccine - girls, boys, women, and men. It is recommended to start as early as 9 years old. Teens and young adults can get it up to age 26. Also, adults may benefit from it too, from ages 27-45. Talk to your healthcare provider about getting vaccinated.

Los CDC recomiendan que todas las personas se vacunen contra el VPH: niñas, niños, mujeres y hombres. Se recomienda comenzar la vacunación desde los 9 años de edad. Los adolescentes y adultos jóvenes pueden recibir la vacuna hasta los 26 años.
Además, los adultos de 27 a 45 años también pueden beneficiarse; hable con su proveedor de atención médica sobre la vacunación.

At SBCHC, we proudly celebrate Día de los Reyes, a beloved tradition that honors the arrival of the Three Wise Men who brought gifts to baby Jesus. As part of the celebration, families gather to share a rosca de reyes, a sweet, oval-shaped bread often containing hidden figurines. We marked the occasion by cutting the rosca together, sharing slices, and enjoying this special tradition that brings community, joy, and a little sweetness to the day.

En SBCHC, celebramos con orgullo el Día de los Reyes, una querida tradición que honra la llegada de los Tres Reyes Magos que trajeron regalos al niño Jesús. Como parte de la celebración, las familias se reúnen para compartir una rosca de reyes, un pan dulce de forma ovalada que a menudo contiene figuritas escondidas.
