Katy Funeral Home's chapel was designed to echo the peace and quiet of a Texas Hill Country afternoon. A stratified limestone background gives a casket a place of honor. During the day, the chapel is bathed in natural light, gently filtered by stained-glass windows in soft gray, gold and mocha. Guests have commented on the light and airy feel of the funeral home, and our chapel is especially notable for the tranquility expressed in a soothing palette of earth tones. The chapel seats about 200 people in padded chairs that can be rearranged to suit your needs. In fall of 2019, we will begin an expansion project to include a second, more intimate chapel with seating of up to 70 guests, a viewing suite, a larger event room and 2 additional conference rooms.

fastest growing cities in the world. We stay ever mindful of our mission to support the international community of this large and diverse metropolitan area. We recognize the importance of meeting the funeral and memorial needs of every race, religion and affiliation, and bring respect to each unique set of circumstances.
Katy Funeral Home provides a welcoming place for all memorial occasions, whether it is a quiet service with full church ceremony or a joyous celebration of life offsite. We work with Asian families as they celebrate their Buddhist traditions, as well as accommodate the mourning dances of African death ceremonies in our welcoming chapel.
Cremations And Witnessing The Cremation
For people who choose cremation, Katy Funeral Home can coordinate the entire cremation process. The crematory we're affiliated with also has an attached witness room for families who wish to conduct the time-honored tradition of witness cremations. We want you to know you have plenty of options when it comes to cremations. We can perform a cremation following a funeral service, preceding a memorial service or without a service at all. The choice is yours.
