At our last in-person course, I watched a doctor's face completely light up.

She'd just completed her first anterior case, hands on, and whispered, "I never thought I could do this."

Here's the thing, cosmetic dentistry isn't just about beautiful smiles. It's about giving people their confidence back. And when you know how to use flowable composite the right way, you can create life changing results without aggressive prep, without toxic materials, and often without even numbing your patient.

That's why I'm opening up our Mastering Cosmetic Flowable Composite course again.

February 27-28, 2026 | Katy, TX | 16 CE hours

You're getting:

✨ Digital Smile Design concepts
✨ The entire workflow, start to finish
✨ Hands on injection technique (anterior, posterior, pediatric, bridge cases)
✨ Live case over the shoulder
✨ Mock up and test drive fabrication
✨ Finishing and polishing for natural results
✨ The business side
✨ Online Masterclass ($1,497 value) included

Plus all materials, breakfast and lunch both days, and dinner Friday night.

You'll leave with confidence, a proven system, and the ability to give your patients results they didn't think were possible.

Let's change that.

Yesterday’s fundraising event for Texans for Medical Freedom reminded me why this fight matters so deeply. I had the chance to share our birth story and our CPS encounter — a chapter I’ll save for another day — but standing in that room made one thing crystal clear: families deserve protection, transparency, and the freedom to make informed choices without fear.

Watching Jackie Schlegel lead this movement is something I respect on a personal level. She’s carried this mission through years of pressure, pushback, and sacrifice, and she’s still standing — not for herself, but for Texas families who don’t have a microphone or a platform.

Nonprofits like this don’t survive on passion alone. They survive because people decide that their voice, their story, or their children are worth fighting for. If you’ve ever felt that systems meant to protect families sometimes miss the mark, or that parents need stronger safeguards, then this is one of the few organizations actually doing the work.

If you’re able, consider supporting Texans for Medical Freedom. Whether it’s a one-time donation or ongoing support, it strengthens the infrastructure that keeps families informed and empowered. Together, we’re stronger — and together, we can make sure no parent has to walk their hardest moments alone.

Sometimes the mouth is just the messenger.
And the real story? It’s written in the blood.

A cracked tooth, a recurring sore, a lesion that doesn’t heal, it’s tempting to treat what we see. But when we pause and look deeper, we often find nutrient deficiencies, systemic inflammation, or hormone imbalances quietly shaping the story.

Dentistry isn’t separate from medicine.
It’s one chapter in a much bigger book.

When we honor that, our work becomes more than fixing teeth.
It becomes part of the body’s larger healing journey.

Throwback to the 2023 IABDM Conference đź’«

That weekend still lives in my heart. Surrounded by some of the most passionate, purpose-driven minds in biological dentistry, I felt both grounded and re-ignited.

We shared science. We shared stories. We shared a vision for dentistry that truly honors the whole person, not just their teeth, but their health, their journey, and their healing.

Every hallway conversation reminded me why we do this.
Why do we keep learning, questioning, and rising?

To everyone I hugged, laughed with, learned from, or just quietly stood in awe of, thank you for being part of this movement.

Let’s talk about something we don’t always learn in dental school…

🩸 Blood work.

From CBC panels to vitamin D levels, iron markers to inflammation flags, these labs can reveal so much about whether a patient’s body is ready to heal, or waving a quiet red flag we don’t want to miss.

I’ve seen blood chemistry shift the way I plan surgeries, decide on timelines, and even change treatment paths entirely.

If you’ve ever felt unsure about how blood work fits into dentistry…
Or you’re curious where to start, what to order, or how to interpret what you see…

✨ Ask me anything!

Drop your questions in the comments, or DM me if that feels easier. I’m here to help you feel confident and supported.

Because when we understand the body better, we serve our patients deeper.

Today I stood on the TEDx stage and shared the story that changed everything for me. ❤️

Years ago, I started experiencing chronic symptoms… fatigue, rashes, brain fog… and I knew something wasn’t right. The more I searched, the more I realized that conventional answers weren’t enough. What I eventually uncovered was mercury toxicity. But the biggest shift came when I started asking different questions about what true healing really looks like.

That turning point led me to wellness dentistry. It asked me to slow down, to look deeper, and to reimagine the way I care for others. It helped me see the mouth not as separate, but as deeply connected to the whole body.

Now, I get to walk alongside others who are ready to take ownership of their health. To support patients in feeling informed, seen, and empowered. And to guide dentists who want to bring more alignment and intention into their care.

TEDx gave me the space to share this truth: when we care for the mouth with clarity and intention, we support the entire body. And when we empower people with education and empathy, healing begins. đź’«

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this path. This message came from a place of lived experience and deep belief… and today, it found its voice. 💕

Here’s something I ask myself often. How often am I looking at my patient’s labs before treatment?

Not just for a second opinion or to “double check,” but as a core part of my planning.

Because blood work tells a story that teeth alone can’t.
It tells me if the immune system is already struggling.
If clotting might be an issue.
If healing is even possible right now.

In wellness dentistry, we don’t just focus on the mouth; we look at the whole terrain.
And when we do, we prevent complications, protect our patients, and give the body a better chance to thrive.

So here’s my question to you:
Are you asking to see the labs before you start the work?

Flashback to 2023 ✨

Our Cosmetic Flow course that year was more than a hands-on training; it was a reminder of what’s possible when artistry meets intention.

We didn’t just talk composites. We practiced presence.
We didn’t just teach techniques. We shared mindset shifts.
And we watched dentists walk out not only with beautiful results, but with a deeper connection to why they do this work.

The energy, the growth, the laughter, the aha moments… I still feel it.
To everyone who showed up with curiosity and heart, thank you for making it unforgettable.

Here’s to more learning, more lightbulb moments, and more dentistry that feels as good as it looks.

A CBC panel doesn’t just belong in a medical chart; it belongs in the dental conversation, too.

I look at it like a roadmap. It helps me understand if a patient’s body is ready for healing, or if it’s sending quiet signals we need to catch before we move forward.

Is their immune system on edge?
Are they able to clot safely?
Is there hidden anemia that could slow recovery?

When we listen to the whole body, not just the mouth, we prevent complications, protect our patients, and practice with more clarity and care.

That’s what wellness dentistry is all about: safer, smarter, whole-body care.

Lately, I’ve been reminded how much we all crave real connection, not just surface-level conversation, but the kind that softens your nervous system and reminds you that you’re not alone.

Whether it's sitting knee to knee with a patient, coaching a dentist through a breakthrough, or sharing a quiet moment with a team member in between patients... connection is the medicine.

It doesn’t always come with big words or grand gestures. Sometimes it’s presence. A pause. A moment of being fully seen and heard.

When we choose to lead, care, and live from a place of connection, everything starts to feel lighter. Brighter. More human.

So if you’re feeling a little stretched or unseen today, just know, there’s space for you here. You don’t have to do this alone.
