Big shout out to the Okauchee Fishing Club for having me come down and do a seminar on Spring walleye patterns on the Bay of Green Bay and Winnebago System, of course we had to talk about the Mississippi River and Lake Eire.

Windy Weekend Had the Walleyes Fired Up!

Despite the hurricane winds, we still managed to put a smack down on the fish. While we did catch a few on a jig and crawler, trolling proved to be the best way to keep baits in the strike zone with the rough conditions.

Huge thanks to Capt. Marco for the assist on the multi-boat trip Saturday, always great working with solid captains to get clients on fish!

Winnebago is still on fire!
Had the pleasure of fishing with Gary and his son Ryan yesterday. They won a full day guide trip from the Okauchee Fishing Club they are members at. We caught 20+ walleyes and they kept 6 to take home to eat. We started out casting a jig and worm concentrating on deeper structure, next wanted to show Ryan how to troll, and was lights out with plenty of boards dropping and even a couple doubles. Have trips available for anyone looking to get on the water.

Lake Winnebago is on fire!
Tim’s granddaughter Ella is in town for the week, and they wanted to explore new fishing areas and learn some new techniques. Ella kicked things off landing her biggest walleye ever on a jig and crawler fishing deeper structure.

We mixed it up throughout the day:
✅ Jigging
✅ Blade baits
✅ Casting cranks
✅ Even set up boards to cover more structure

Plenty of laughs, plenty of hook set

Not all guides just troll and let you reel ’em in. I’m here to teach, guide, and help you catch fish your way.
