Located only 10 minutes north of the heart of Bay City, in the small town of Kawkawlin, Huron Woods is a skilled nursing facility that offers short-term rehabilitation rooms for those recovering from surgery or injury, as well as extended nursing care beds for those individuals needing hospice, medically complex, wellness or memory care services. Since we are a smaller 60-bed facility, our residents and staff get to know each other like family.

We're proud to share that Candice Miller, NHA, RN, Clinical Support Nurse with The Peplinski Group, recently presented at the Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care (MI-NADONA) Annual Conference!

Candice's session, "Developing a Charge Nurse," offered valuable insights and strategies to help strengthen leadership, confidence, and communication amoung nursing teams in long term care. 👏

All of us at Huron Woods would like to Thank everyone who helped us raise money for the Alzheimer's Walk. As a team we were able to raise $640. Saturday 10/18/25 is the day of the Walk if anyone wants to join us in Bay City at Wenona Park. Hope to see you there.
