👶💗 Every baby deserves a safe start!

This GivingTuesday (Dec. 2nd), the Kona Hospital Foundation is raising $57,200 to purchase 13 new bassinets for moms and babies at Kona Community Hospital. Our current bassinets are worn and outdated — together, we can give every newborn a safe, comfortable beginning right here at home. 🌺

🌍💙 What is GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that inspires people everywhere to do good! It’s a day to come together — after Black Friday and Cyber Monday — to support the causes that make our communities stronger.

This year, the Kona Hospital Foundation is focusing our GivingTuesday efforts on raising funds for new baby bassinets for the Women’s Health Services unit at Kona Community Hospital. These bassinets will help provide a safe and comfortable start for every newborn. 👶💗

Your Donation Dollars at Work!

Thanks to generous supporters, Kona Community Hospital now has a FerrAlert Halo II Plus Ferromagnetic Detection System.

This system helps keep patients, visitors, and staff safe by detecting metal objects before they enter sensitive areas like the MRI room. This new system adds an extra layer of protection so everyone can stay safe during scans.

Mahalo for helping us make healthcare safer!

💙 Your Donation Dollars at Work!

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Kona Hospital Foundation purchased 14 Omni Feeding Pumps for patient care throughout the Kona Community Hospital.

These specialized pumps provide safe, consistent nutrition to patients who are unable to eat on their own. By delivering precise amounts of nutrients at a controlled rate, the pumps help ensure patients receive the nourishment they need for recovery and healing.

Your support helps us provide comfort, safety, and the highest quality care to our community. Mahalo for making it possible! 💙
