We were thrilled today to host members of law enforcement for National Coffee with a Cop Day! The stories and laughter were flowing as plentifully as the coffee as we shared a pleasant hour over a light brunch. We are thankful for the opportunity to honor these men and women who work so diligently for our community! Thanks especially to the members of the Kearney Police Department, Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, and UNK Police Department who made time to be with us today. ❤️

For “Be True to Your School Day,” we got a great mix of colors and themes! We had people representing their kids’ and grandkids’ schools, their own alma maters, their favorite sports teams, and of course the Huskers! The culinary team made some delicious runzas for lunch and, based on resident feedback, this Nebraska classic likely to be seen on our menu again soon!
