❤️ February is all about showing your heart some love, and with this unseasonably warm weather it feels like Mother Nature is getting an early start on Heart Month.

This week, we are celebrating a triple feature of heart‑healthy heroes. No winter coat required.

💓 Heart Failure Awareness Week
Know the signs and symptoms early so your heart does not have to heat up to get your attention.

🏃‍♂️ Cardiac Rehab Week
Our rehab team helps patients build strength and confidence, kind of like a reliable forecast in Nebraska. Sure, the weather may not always be predictable, but the support you get in cardiac rehab always is. Sunshine or surprise wind gusts, they help you keep moving forward.

🩺 Cardiovascular Professionals Week
These professionals work their hearts out all year long, no matter the temperature. If hearts had weather apps, they would give our team a 100 percent chance of excellence.

Thank you to the people who keep our community’s hearts healthy. You warm things up long before spring actually arrives. ❤️

If you’re unsure how recent vaccination updates apply to your child, a conversation with their pediatrician or healthcare provider can provide clarity and support. They understand your child’s needs best and can offer personalized guidance.

With recent changes to the federal childhood vaccination recommendations, you may have questions or concerns.

The American Academy of Pediatrics and numerous medical organizations continue to support the previous immunization schedule, which was developed based on decades of research by pediatric experts to keep children healthy and safe.

When making decisions for your family, we recommend speaking directly with your child’s pediatrician or healthcare provider. They are most familiar with your child’s health history and can help provide guidance that is right for you and your family.

A huge thank‑you to the Circle K group from the University of Nebraska at Kearney!

Last week they donated a collection of activity bags to Kearney Regional Medical Center, and our volunteers will share them with patients and guests during their stay. These thoughtful bags will help brighten someone’s day and offer a little comfort when it’s needed most.

We’re grateful for community partners like UNK Circle K who make a meaningful difference through service. Thank you for supporting KRMC and those we care for!
