It’s Wednesday, the 15th of April. By mid-morning, the Moon joins Mercury, Neptune, Mars, Saturn, Sun, and Chiron in Aries. This stellium (more than three planets in one sign) “creates a complex emotional landscape defined by a restless, urgent pull toward the future clashing with a necessary surrender to the past.”--astrologer Dorothy Morgan. We’re also leaving behind a long Pisces era, as many of these planets, especially the outer ones, won’t return to Pisces in our lifetime. It’s a time to move forward, even if we think we’re not ready, for the push of these seven planets is inescapable. Be willing to let go of the past, accept that moving forward is unavoidable, and let’s do our best to keep our feet on the ground while we’re moving ahead.

Of course the 7 of Wands arrives today, whose energy helps us assess where we're at, put on our cloak of courage and gird up for action. There are seven planets in Aries, after all. All the intuition and creativity we need are given us by the Page of Cups. And I kind of expected the Magician to show up, too, with all this ready-or-not forward motion. He can help protect the young heart of the Page of Cups (our own vulnerable hearts), while he uses his resourcefulness to manifest the best way forward. The 4 of Wands shows the continuing outcome: more often than not, we'll be able to celebrate success. And with the God of our Understanding helping us, how can we do anything less? I think of a verse in the Judeo-Christian Bible my mama quoted a lot: "If God be for us, then no one can defeat us"--Romans 8:31. Truth! Our Higher Power magnifies the energy of the Priestess of Earth Magic and the Magician to free us from any obstacles. "(There is) true power (available) to break through, to remove old obstacles, and to move forward on our soul's path."--Sandra Anne Taylor. We might as well get to ridding ourselves of our obstacles because the planets in Aries are on our tail anyway, blocks or no blocks. The way forward will be much easier without all that baggage. Blessings to us all as we work with our Higher Power to remove all that isn't good for our souls.
