The picture doesn’t do it justice, but these flowers were delivered to PCU today from a former patient thanking all the staff for the great care they received, and wanted to especially thank Taylor Whittaker and Jayden Wescoatt! Great job everyone! Way to make a difference to someone!

Nursing has an award called the Daisy award where someone can nominate a nurse for their care they have given. One day Dr. Ayalew was on our unit and said he would like a Daisy award. I told him it was for nurses and he replied “ but I’m good to patients too”. We decided that we would make him a Daisy crown. It took a little bit to find the crown, but we got it done and surprised him with it. He may have been just a little embarrassed, but he liked it!
