Since Amanda hails from Tuscaloosa and Lori spent most of her adult life in Auburn, the idea to bring this competition from the football field to tackle childhood cancer was born. DNA sequenced brain tumors have given so much insight to how individualized each tumor is. This has also allowed for a new pediatric brain cancer treatment to be created that fights a specific brain tumor, which is a step towards better treatments for all.

The whistle has blown! The first-ever Kid Bowl kicks off November 1st at 10:00 AM EST! It’s time to pick your side, rally your teammates, and help us tackle childhood cancer together.

Here’s how it works:

The competition runs from November 1st through November 29th (11:59 PM EST).

Every dollar donated counts as a point for your team: Alabama (Dragon Master Initiative) or Auburn (NoahBRAVE Foundation).

At the end of the month, we’ll total the points to see which team takes home the Kid Bowl “trophy”… but no matter who wins, the real victory is helping kids and families facing cancer.
