🌱 Neuroplasticity, Healing, and Tools That Support the Journey
One of the many things that helped my personal healing journey came when I started learning about neuroplasticity — the brain’s ability to change, adapt, and form new pathways.
For someone who’s lived through chronic pain, trauma, and years of medical hurdles, that idea alone gave me hope.
Over time, I explored different tools to support my own neuroplasticity. One of the things I personally found helpful was microdosing 200mg psilocybin capsules. That small, intentional dose helped me break patterns, stay present, and create new neurological “tracks” that supported better habits and more balanced days. I did this under the watch of my therapist.
I’m far from the only one.
Johns Hopkins University, along with other major research institutions, has been studying the potential of psilocybin for neuroplasticity, emotional regulation, depression, trauma recovery, and overall mental flexibility. The science is still growing, but the early results are promising and align with what many people have reported in their own experiences.
How to support neuroplasticity daily:
• Microdosing (responsibly, legally, and intentionally)
• Breathwork & slowing the nervous system
• Daily movement or sunlight
• Mindfulness or quiet-focus practices
• Learning something new
• Creating simple, repeatable habits
