Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services - HCS

Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services - HCS HCS provides home health care services, hospice, and community health programs.

HCS has been providing comfort, care and support to people at home since the first visiting nurses started in the Peterborough area in 1907. Over one hundred years later, Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services is a unique organization serving southwestern New Hampshire communities with comprehensive nursing and therapy services that help speed recovery after a hospitalization and provide independence at home for those who are chronically ill. From visits to newborns to comfort at the end of life through our hospice program, Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services is there for all members of your family.

Earlier this week, some of our Steering Committee members delivered a "big check" to Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services - HCS for the collective donation from our February meeting, which came to an impactful $20,324! Our funds will be used to support uninsured and underinsured patients in HCS’s Palliative Care and Hospice Support program, which provides person-centered guidance, emotional support, and care coordination for patients with serious illness. Thank you, Women Who Care! 🩵

Last week, we had the honor of welcoming Representative Catherine Harvey and Mayor Jay Kahn to HCS as part of Meals on Wheels Community Champions Week.

Together with our team, they got a behind-the-scenes look at how Meals on Wheels supports older adults and neighbors in our community, delivering more than just nutritious meals, but connection, safety, and independence at home.

Mayor Kahn even joined a delivery route, experiencing firsthand the impact a simple knock on the door can make.

Every meal delivered helps someone remain where they want to be most: at home.

đź’™ You can be part of that impact.

A great resource for our neighbors in Dublin!

Recent Update from Dublin NH Food Pantry

💚 Dublin Food Pantry – Neighbor Helping Neighbor 💚

The Dublin Food Pantry relies entirely on donated food items as well as monetary donations to keep our shelves stocked and our neighbors supported.

While food donations are incredibly important, cash and direct monetary donations allow our volunteers to shop weekly for immediate needs and perishable items, ensuring families have access to fresh, healthy food when they need it most. Please reach out if you’d like to coordinate a cash donation with a volunteer.

We are deeply grateful for this community and the way you continue to rally around this shared effort. The need is real, and your generosity truly makes a difference for local families and individuals.
