HCS provides home health care services, hospice, and community health programs.

HCS has been providing comfort, care and support to people at home since the first visiting nurses started in the Peterborough area in 1907. Over one hundred years later, Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services is a unique organization serving southwestern New Hampshire communities with comprehensive nursing and therapy services that help speed recovery after a hospitalization and provide independence at home for those who are chronically ill. From visits to newborns to comfort at the end of life through our hospice program, Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services is there for all members of your family.

It's National Phone a Friend Day 📞 Drop us a "line" every Wednesday at the Keene & Peterborough offices, 1 - 3 PM for Walk-In Wednesdays!

We stopped by to "share the love" with the team at Subaru of Keene! Through the Subaru Share the Love event, every new Subaru purchased or leased, Subaru is donating $250 to a participating charity of your choosing - like Meals on Wheels! Additionally, for every Subaru vehicle routine service visit during the Subaru Share the Love Event, Subaru of Keene will donate $5 to a local charity. November 20 through January 2.

Through the years, over $355,000 has been donated to local nonprofits and initiatives by Subaru of Keene. That's hundreds of thousands of dollars put right back into the Monadnock region, directly supporting our friends and neighbors.

Meals on Wheels through HCS delivers over 400 meals, daily. That's 400 seniors and people with disabilities in our community who receive not only nutritious meals, but much needed connection. Nationally, nearly 5 million meals have been delivered thanks to Subaru, the largest automotive donor to Meals on Wheels America

🎁✨ A Season of Kindness: Silver Angels 2025 ✨🎁

This holiday season, our Silver Angels program helped 62 homemaking clients feel seen, valued, and cared for — all thanks to YOU! From practical necessities like cleaning supplies and warm socks to fun puzzles and heartfelt prayers, donors delivered gifts that brought comfort and joy

💌 One client said it best: “…so lucky to get anything this year. Without [HCS], I wouldn’t be opening anything.”
