We are so excited to welcome Sydney Shutt, LMT to the Deep Roots team!

Sydney is a graduate of Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy. Her massage style is a blend of deep tissue techniques. In her work, Sydney provides a safe, comfortable environment while seeking out the roots of muscle tension, and encourages communication to ensure every massage will meet her clients' individual needs.

Sydney is skilled in relieving complex pain and tension, and has completed continuing education in integrative stretching, cupping therapy, plantar fasciitis, neuromuscular therapy of the low back and shoulder, orthopedic massage foundations, orthopedic massage for the elbow, forearm and hand, and orthopedic massage for the hip and pelvis.

If you’ve already worked with Sydney, you’ll know that she’s an experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate professional. We look forward to learning and growing alongside her.

We are honored to welcome Sarah Chagnon, LMT, an accomplished therapist with 11 years of experience, to our professional Massage Therapy team!

Whenever an LMT joins our team, we reserve their first few massages for staff and schedule one for them too. There are a lot of relaxed people around here lately! Sarah's first schedule will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

From Sarah: "I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2014, specializing in creating customized sessions that support both body and mind. My approach blends therapeutic techniques with relaxation-focused modalities, designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and help the body truly let go of stress and tension. Community Acupuncture with Allison Millar, MS, LAc, This Sunday, 5/18 2-5pm

Community Acupuncture is an easy, relaxed, and affordable way to experience the benefits of this ancient traditional therapy. Each session is personalized with a private consultation and tailored to your unique needs. Treatments take place in cozy recliners within a quiet, shared space.

Your appointment begins with a brief discussion with your acupuncturist about your health concerns and treatment goals. After that, settle into your reclining chair, and the acupuncturist will insert thin needles, usually in areas such as the head, arms, legs, or ears. You’ll remain fully clothed, so be sure to wear loose, comfortable clothing. Sessions typically last between 30 and 60 minutes. Many people use this time to nap or deeply relax. Afterward, you’ll leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Two acupuncture sessions cost the same as a one-hour massage, and you can use gift certificates or member credits. Bring a friend and make a wellness date of it!

Acupuncture is a great option for relieving stress, pain, insomnia, anxiety, digestive issues, and more.

We’re excited to launch a new continuing education series led by thought leaders in the massage therapy field. These small, in-person classes are designed to foster personal connection and deeper learning.

In our first CEU offering for 2025, we are thrilled to welcome our friend Vickie Branch—Osteopath, Massage Therapist, and Educator with 27 years of experience—to lead a workshop on Positional Release Therapy with a focus on Functional Anatomy.

The course is broken into 4-parts for a total of 16 CEU's & will be offered on Mondays from 3-7 PM throughout July.
