Sunday afternoon, after our performance of MARY JANE, we had the honor of hosting a powerful and deeply moving conversation with Alicia Deaver, Executive Director of Rise for Baby & Family, and Mary-Anne Wisell, Executive Director of Monadnock Developmental Services.

Their insight, wisdom, and lived experience illuminated so much of what Mary Jane holds at its core—caregiving, community, and the unseen emotional labor that shapes families in our region.

Our talk back was honest, generous, and full of heart. We left in awe of the extraordinary work these women and their organizations do for the Monadnock community, and we are grateful for the space they created for reflection and connection.

Thank you, Alicia and Mary-Anne, for sharing your time, your expertise, and your compassion with our audience. And thanks to everyone who stayed to listen, ask questions, and be part of such a meaningful dialogue.

And it’s just the right time for it.

Please join us Sunday November 9 at 3:30 (following the performance) for a conversation with Executive Directors Alicia Deaver (Rise for Baby and Family) and Mary-Anne Wisell (Monadnock Developmental Services). Together we’ll discuss Firelight’s production of Mary Jane and caregiving + family services in the Monadnock region.

If you or someone you know receive SNAP benefits in New Hampshire, you are eligible to pick up a box of shelf stable groceries and produce.

Please bring a SNAP card or proof of eligibility in order to pick up your box.
Each card owner will receive one box.
