81st Medical Group Keesler Medical Center - located on Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS.

The 81st Medical Group operates one of the largest Air Force medical facilities in the Air Force. Its primary mission is to maintain medical readiness for worldwide contingencies by providing quality, cost-effective health care for more than 23,000 enrollees, including over 6,000 active-duty members. Keesler Medical Center is pleased to announce a return to normal operations on Wednesday, October 22nd.
• Emergency Department: Open at 6 a.m.
• Inpatient Services: Available with the exception of Labor & Delivery.
• Outpatient Services: Resuming normal hours.

Please note that Labor & Delivery services will remain temporarily unavailable (on divert). Keesler Women’s Health is contacting expectant mothers directly to provide updates and answer questions. However, if you have any immediate concerns, please don't hesitate to call 228-376-0433, and select option 3.

📢 Important Pharmacy Update – Keesler📢
Due to the current lapse in appropriations and resulting resource limitations, some routine prescriptions may temporarily be out of stock at the Keesler Pharmacy. If your medication is out of stock, you may choose to have your prescription filled at a local retail pharmacy or through the TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery. Please be assured that acute and urgent prescriptions will continue to be prioritized and filled as quickly as possible.
Here’s what you need to know:
• If your new or refill prescription is affected, you will be notified immediately upon submission.
• If your medication is unavailable at the Keesler pharmacy, we will transfer it to a local network pharmacy of your choice.

Its primary mission is to maintain medical readiness for worldwide contingencies by providing quality, cost-effective health care for more than 27,000 enrollees, including almost 7,500 active-duty members. In addition, the 81st MDG commander oversees the Gulf Coast Multi-Service Market, which includes five military medical treatment facilities from Mobile, Ala., to New Orleans, coordinating care for 110,000 eligible beneficiaries along the Gulf Coast.
