🌟 Health Tip — Want to age better and move stronger?

Research shows that your ability to sit all the way down on the floor and then rise up without using your hands or knees isn’t just a fun challenge! It’s linked with better long-term health outcomes!

A study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that adults who score higher on the sitting-rising test, meaning they can get down and up from the floor with minimal support, tend to have better overall physical fitness and a lower risk of mortality over time.

This movement reflects strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility. These are all key factors for healthy aging and independence as you get older.

Training your body to move this way could help improve functional strength and resilience!

You’ve impressed us again with your generosity! You always go above and beyond! And this year you provided Christmas to 3 kids, a mom and a senior citizen alongside of collecting a host of diapers and onesies for the pregnancy crisis center.

The team had the privilege of volunteering at this morning!

This non profit in our community is a full service restaurant where everyone is welcome no matter what their financial means. They provide the opportunity to “taste and see that the Lord is good!” (Psalm 34:8)
