FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Helical Health is an internal medicine primary care physician office in search of a compassionate full-time certified medical assistant interested in helping people.

Ideal Medical Assistant candidates are punctual, dependable, flexible, detail-oriented, and can communicate effectively with patients, staff and physicians. We require a self-motivated “people” person with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Clinical duties include:
Customer service (face to face and over the phone)
Some front office duties (including insurance verification, answering phones, making appointments)
Checking patients in
Prepping for upcoming appointments
Preparing exam rooms and fitting with supplies
Taking patients back
Procedure skills (including vital signs, blood draws, injections, EKG, spirometry, bladder scan, breathing treatments)
Document visit with the patient into the EMR
Send orders and prescriptions
Sterilizing instruments
Training in all areas of the clinic to cover as needed
