Those who have done BCST or Reiki with me know that every session, I present my client with a ribbon corresponding with my color of the year. This ribbon represents their intention for the session and can be held during the session, then placed on the tree to continue to soak up the good energy long after the session has ended. This February, while I was hiking in the Mojave Desert with a dear friend, an ironwood branch appeared before me on the trail, and I was able to bring it home and use it as another surface on which beautiful intentions can bloom.(See my original tree in the comments). Both of these trees of beautiful intention bring me such joy. I am grateful for those who choose to work with me and the hope and integrity they bring into the world. Healing is a journey that requires bravery, and I am inspired by the courage of those around me. 🌿

This past weekend, I came down with a cold. I’ve had to cancel my sessions for most of the week, but I'm taking this time to do some reading and reflecting on Polyvagal Theory & PTSD.

I'm grateful for the healing love of my friend, Heidi Peterson of Petersons Pantry LLC. Her Fire Cider and Elderberry Tonic are doing their magic while I rest. I would recommend having both on hand before you find yourself under the weather. A little love and the right medicine go a long way in providing comfort while health is being restored.🙏🏼

Friends, these are frightening times. It is very challenging to be present in this moment; to make sense of what we are witnessing. I believe that we were made for these times, but it is hard to be regulated when we are confronted with so much fear and violence on a daily basis. Please take good care of yourselves and each other. Stay informed, but limit media. Reach out to your senators/members of congress. These actions matter on a universal level even when they feel ineffective. Adopt a practice that promotes calm. Engage in prayer, meditation, yoga, breathwork… Keep a gratitude journal; reach out to loved ones and let them know you are thinking of them. Do your best to stay healthy and regulated.

I have had the pleasure of being acquainted with artist and weaver of magic, Nora of for four years now, and I have gifted her creations to several friends. This year, I decided to treat myself and commissioned a bracelet, an amber teardrop woven into cords of moss green, my color of 2026.
