📣 We have exiting news! We would like to officially welcome Dr. Heather Beach as our newest associate veterinarian.
As many of you know, Dr. Ashman, owner of Lunenburg Animal Hospital, is also the owner of Hoofbeats Equine Service. With the demand for equine medicine requiring more of her time at Hoofbeats, Dr. Ashman saw the need to incorporate another experienced veterinarian at LAH to ensure the continued dedication to high-quality companion animal care. This transition paved the way for Dr. Heather Beach to join the practice as a new associate, strengthening the hospital’s ability to serve the community while allowing Dr. Ashman to further develop her equine services.
Dr. Beach brings over 20 years of companion animal veterinary experience to Lunenburg Animal Hospital. She is a 2005 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech and practiced in Harrisonburg at Heartland Veterinary Clinic for many years. In 2023 she relocated her family to Charlotte County to improve educational opportunities for her two small children and to be closer to the historic preservation nonprofit she founded five years ago.
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Beach to our family! Her experience, skill, and dedication to our small animal patients and client communication make her a wonderful addition to our practice. We have already received rave reviews from clients who have met her!
Along with the addition of expanded medical experience, this transition will bring several exciting enhancements to Lunenburg Animal Hospital’s services. The clinic will now offer sick patient hospitalization, advanced dental care, and increased boarding availability for cats and small- to medium-sized dogs. Clients can also expect greater appointment availability and more direct doctor-client-patient interactions, allowing for stronger communication and continuity of care.
