❄️ Cold Weather Update ❄️

Even though the weather outside is frightful 🥶 our Hospital & Clinics will be OPEN tomorrow with regular hours to serve our patients. However, if you would like to reschedule an exam or an appointment we totally understand, give us a call and we can accommodate you.

Our care teams are taking extra precautions so we can continue to be here for you when you need us most. If you must be out and about, please travel carefully, allow extra time, and bundle up! We'll have a cup of hot coffee ready for you when you get here. ☕

❄️ Preparing for Cold Weather: What Patients Should Know ❄️

As temperatures drop, it’s important to take a few extra steps to protect your health and stay prepared.

Plan Ahead for Prescriptions!🧑‍🔬
Refill medications early to avoid delays due to weather or pharmacy closures.
Keep an updated list of your medications and dosages.
Store medications properly and protect them from extreme cold.

Be Ready for Appointments👀

Check for appointment updates or delays during severe weather. Watch this page for any update to our Outpatient Services hours, as always our Emergency Room NEVER closes! 🚑

Consider telehealth visits when available.

📍 Important Location Updates at OKMH 📍

We want to let our patients know about several location changes happening across the OKMH campus!

➡️ Visiting Specialists Update
All visiting specialists — except Dr. Hager — will now be seen in the Bonnstetter Building, located next to the Wellness Center. Renovations there are nearly complete and offer a fresh, more convenient space for our visiting providers.

➡️ Kaiser Orthopedics Entrance Change (Effective Today)
All patients visiting Kaiser Orthopedics will now enter through the primary care lobby and proceed down the hallway to reach the Orthopedics office. These offices, along with Dr. Hager’s, are currently being refreshed and improved to better support their growing practices.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to grow, improve, and make these much-needed updates to better serve our patients. We appreciate you! 😊

Take note of the new location for our Visiting Specialists! The majority of our Specialists that visit OKMH on a monthly basis are now located in the newly refreshed Bonnstetter Building here on our campus, located next to the Wellness Center. Dr. Krause and Dr. Hagar will remain in their current Suites. Your hometown hospital is making changes to better serve our local residents & we will continue to have several smaller construction projects in the works over the upcoming months. Watch for more information coming soon!

OKMH will host their first blood drive of 2026 this Wednesday - Please donate if you can!

Type O we need you! Right now, someone in our community is waiting for blood that may not be there unless we act.

Due to nationwide shortages, we can’t rely on other blood centers to help meet demand. Our patients are depending on our local community to step up.

Celebrating Awareness and Strength this October!

October has arrived and with it all of the usual Breast Cancer Awareness promotions and fundraisers - and we want to GIVE money away this year, not just raise it! 💌

Our Foundation supports grants to those in our community suffering medical hardships, and during the month of October we have set the goal to help women fighting a Breast Cancer diagnosis. If you, a loved one or friend needs help with screenings, treatments, travel, medications - or anything related to a breast cancer diagnosis, please pick up a Grant application and get it back to us! The process is easy!🩷🩷🩷

All funds raised through our T-Shirt sales and fundraisers throughout the year go directly to fund these grants and stays HERE in our local community, helping our friends and neighbors in need. We gave away over $10,000 in grants last year alone.🥰 Thank you for supporting our events, now help us get the word out to women in need this October! 📢
