If you’ve felt tired, heavy, or unsure how to put words to what you’re carrying, this night is meant to be a safe place to pause.

Tonight we continue walking through Step 1 — The Power of Weakness, with a focus on naming the weight without feeling pressure to explain everything.

You don’t need answers.
You don’t need the right words.
You don’t need to share more than you’re ready for.

This is simply space — to be honest, to listen, and to grow together at a healthy pace.

This Friday we’ll gather for Week 3 of Step 1 — The Power of Weakness!

This week’s focus is simple but meaningful:
Naming the weight without telling the whole story.

Not everything we carry is ready to be explained.
Some things are still tender.
Some things just need to be acknowledged in a safe place.

This night isn’t about fixing anything.
It’s about creating space to be honest, to listen, and to grow together as a family.

“I want to do what is right, but I can’t.” — Romans 7:18

That verse matters because it reminds us that wanting to do better doesn’t mean we have the strength to do it alone. Even Paul named his limits.

As you step into this week, hear this clearly:
You don’t have to carry everything by yourself.

If you’re tired, frustrated, or discouraged, that doesn’t mean you’re failing. It may mean you’ve been carrying more than you were meant to.

This week, you don’t need a perfect plan.
You don’t need to fix everything.
Just pause long enough to name what’s heavy and invite God into it.

One day at a time.
That’s how healing actually happens.

Last night at Vision Recovery, we continued Step 1: The Power of Weakness with a message titled “When Control Stops Working.”

This wasn’t about fixing anything or trying harder.
It was about naming reality.

We talked about how control often begins as a survival tool, but eventually reaches its limit.
How powerlessness isn’t defeat, but the turning point.
And how freedom doesn’t come from fighting reality, but finally acknowledging it.

Scripture reminds us:
“I want to do what is right, but I can’t.” (Romans 7:18)
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

If you’ve been worn down from carrying things alone, I pray this message meets you where you are.

As today begins, you don’t need a plan for getting better.
You don’t need clarity.
You don’t need strength.

If you’re tired of holding things together — that’s enough honesty for one day.

Tonight, Vision Recovery is simply a place to bring what you’re already carrying.
Nothing to prove. Nothing to perform.

Sometimes the hardest moment isn’t the breaking point -
it’s the moment you realize control just isn’t working anymore.

This Friday at Vision Recovery, we’re continuing Step 1: The Power of Weakness.

Not to fix anything.
Not to rush change.
Just to tell the truth about what we can’t manage on our own.

If you’re tired of holding it together…
If you’ve been strong for a long time…
If you need a space where honesty is allowed -

You’re welcome here!

✨ Motivation Monday

Grace doesn’t wait for you to get stronger.
It meets you right where you’re honest.

Some weeks leave us tired.
Some seasons remind us how little control we actually have.
And Step 1 reminds us of this freeing truth:
you don’t have to be strong to be free.

“My power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

If today feels heavy… if you’re worn down… if you’re realizing you can’t carry everything on your own — you’re not failing. You’re standing at the doorway of grace.

This week, don’t strive for strength.
Choose honesty.
That’s where God meets us.

Last night at Vision Recovery, we kicked off the year with Step 1: The Power of Weakness.

The message was simple, and hard:
“I can’t do this anymore.”

Not as a failure…
but as honesty.

Step 1 doesn’t ask us to fix anything.
It just asks us to stop pretending.

If you’ve been exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own…
If you’ve been carrying more than you’ve admitted…
If you’ve felt weak and wondered where God is in it…

This message is for you.

If you’re walking into today feeling tired, overwhelmed, or unsure —
that doesn’t disqualify you.

Step 1 of recovery begins with weakness, not strength.
With admitting we’re powerless — not pretending we’re okay.

Step 1 of recovery doesn’t ask us to be honest so we can feel better.
It asks us to admit something deeper:

We are weak.
We are powerless.
And our lives have become unmanageable.

This January, Vision Recovery is beginning
Step 1 — The Power of Weakness.

“I can’t do this anymore” isn’t failure.
It’s the doorway into real recovery.

✨ Motivation Monday

Christmas has passed.
A new year is approaching.
And right here in the middle — God is still shaping you.

Step 12 reminds us that what God has done in you isn’t meant to stay contained.
It’s meant to move forward… and shine.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16

As this year winds down, don’t rush past the work God has already done in you.
Carry it forward.

Your growth matters.
Your presence matters.
Your light still has purpose — even in the in-between.

Victory is possible!! 💛
