Motivation Monday

You don’t have to hide from what God already sees!

A lot of times something comes up in us and our first instinct is to move past it. We stay busy, push it down, or tell ourselves it’s not that big of a deal. But this week isn’t about ignoring it, it’s about being honest with it.

God already sees what’s going on in you—not to shame you, but to meet you there. He’s not asking for a filtered version of you. He’s inviting you to be real.

So when something comes up this week, don’t rush past it. Pause, acknowledge it, and bring it to Him. You don’t have to fix everything, you just have to stop hiding!

Motivation Monday

This week doesn’t start with pressure.
It starts with a simple prayer:

“Search me, O God, and know my heart…”

Not the version of me I show people.
Not the version I try to manage.

The real me.

Step 4 is about honesty, and honesty doesn’t start by fixing everything… it starts by letting God see everything.

So this week, don’t pretend your way through it.

Just be real with Him.

That’s where change begins.

This week at Vision Recovery, we stepped into Step 4 and started something deeper—honesty. Not perfection, not having it all together… just being real about what’s actually going on inside.

Tonight we step into Step 4: The Power of Honesty.

This month’s theme is NO FILTER, and tonight starts with a simple but real place — “I’m Not Fine.”

A lot of people have learned how to function without ever being honest. We carry things, manage them, and keep moving, but never actually bring them into the light.

Tonight isn’t about pretending or having it all together. It’s about being honest enough to take a real step forward, because you can’t heal what you keep hiding.

We’re stepping into a new step this week — Step 4: The Power of Honesty.

This month’s theme is NO FILTER.

Because if we’re being real, a lot of us have learned how to function while not actually being okay. We know how to show up, say the right things, and keep it moving… but underneath, there are things we’ve never really faced.

Step 4 is where that changes. Not to shame us, but to free us. It’s where we stop pretending, stop hiding, and start telling the truth about where we really are.

If you’ve been walking through this with us, this is where it goes deeper. If you’re new, this is a perfect place to step in.

Motivation Monday

Because He rose… you can be honest.

A lot of us aren’t stuck because we don’t want freedom.
We’re stuck because we’re still hiding.

Hiding what we don’t want to face.
Hiding what we don’t want to admit.
Hiding what we’re afraid would change how people see us.

But the cross already paid for what you’re trying to cover.

“For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed…” — Luke 8:17

Step 4 isn’t about exposing you to shame.
It’s about bringing things into the light so they can finally heal.

You don’t have to hide anymore!
