Kenmore Mercy Hospital

Kenmore Mercy Hospital Founded in 1951, Kenmore Mercy was established by the Sisters of Mercy to respond to the needs of Buffalo’s northern neighborhoods.

It continues to grow and evolve to meet the community’s changing needs. Today, the hospital provides its patients with a nationally recognized knee & hip center, state-of-the-art emergency care, stroke care, medical rehabilitation unit, sleep medicine, imaging technology, palliative care, interventional radiology, cardiopulmonary testing, and enhanced medical, surgical, and critical care services. ❤️ We are honored to join communities across the nation in commemorating 100 years of Black History Month. This year’s centennial invites us not only to reflect on history, but to intentionally honor the enduring contributions, leadership, resilience, and healing work of Black communities—particularly within healthcare.

💛 Throughout the month, Catholic Health's Culture & Community Engagement team is hosting programs and activities that align with our mission of revealing healing love and advancing equity, justice, and belonging across the organization.
