I have always dreamed of having my own spa, but I wanted something different than the traditional meaning of the word. And I wanted to offer services that are different, powerful, and simple. OAK Sanctuary is just that. OAK stands for old and ancient knowledge, which I love as it brings in the ways of taking care of yourself that have been forgotten. It is the way of caring the elders used to do for the tribe. It is the way of caring for yourself that is simple, powerful, and natural. The name “oak” also makes me think of a large, shady, protective tree and time spent outdoors with your feet in the grass. How rare is that today? I want to bring all of those feelings together and help you remember it was not so long ago that we cared for ourselves in exactly that way. Nature holds such a strong focus in our lives—from the trees to the rivers to the stars to the sun. Everything that surrounds us, makes us pause, and inspires awe in our daily lives also brings balance and harmony to our lives. My vision for OAK Sanctuary is to provide a safe and supportive environment that reminds you how you can become a better version of yourself—if you just remember how.
