When we aren’t going out and having fun, we are enjoying great music from Jim Brown and the Sweet Spirit Singers!🎶 They sang and paid tribute to all the fallen on 9/11, and later on the residents made red, white and blue memorial candle holders- and they were all beautiful!

A big thank you to Wendy from Trinity Hospice for helping with our Sundae on a Friday event! The residents absolutely loved all the ice cream and yummy toppings!

And last but not least, we created super cute owls and turkeys from little pine cones!!!! ✨

Gaines Park at Georgia Aquarium!! 🐟🦈🐋

We o(fish)ially made it to the Georgia Aquarium and had an absolute blast of a time! We saw so many sharks, whales( beluga & whale shark), dolphins, stingrays and more!! We also had lunch at the aquarium at the Coastline Café!

We had a great Fourth of July last week and the smiles on the resident’s faces prove it! Thank you to Jeni Michelson for our entertainment, Gaines Park Staff for helping with our fireworks show, & lastly, a tremendous thank you to our soldiers (at home and overseas) for their bravery, commitment, service, and for defending our freedom and flag- the red, white, and blue 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Thank you so much to Edwin Countryman with Starr Ranch Rescue for coming to our community with these three lovely animals 🐶🐴🐶! The weather was absolutely perfect and the residents absolutely LOVED having y’all over!!!

✨ Gaines Park takes on Gibbs Gardens✨

We had a beautiful time at Gibbs last week for our monthly resident trip! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and so was rhe Japanese Garden & Poppy field! 🌷🌸🪷 We had lunch at the Arbor Cafe at the garden too! Overall, we had a wonderful outing- stay tuned for our next one in June! (🐠 )

We have been busy here at Gaines Park! We celebrated all of our lovely women here by hosting a Mother’s Day tea! Our ladies enjoyed a variety of teas, sandwiches, and many mini pastries! 💕

Lots of fun things happening! Mount Paran Christian School visited Gaines Park for their annual Serve Day!
Saying thank you is not enough!!
These incredible volunteers did a wheelchair/walker wash, power washed our sidewalks, weeded, trimmed, planted, laid down tons of pine straw, and basically transformed our courtyard into a haven of serenity and beauty. And let’s not forget about that awesome jazz ensemble! On behalf of Gaines Park, thank you for the love and light you brought to this community last Friday. We are beyond grateful. 💛
