We’re excited to welcome Julianne to our team! Julianne earned her BS in Occupational Therapy from Temple University and brings over 30 years of OT experience supporting children and families across hospitals, schools, early intervention, outpatient settings, private clinics, hippotherapy programs, and home-based care. Her diverse background allows her to meet each child where they are with a flexible, whole-child, neurodiversity-affirming approach.

Julianne’s clinical interests include sensory integration, emotional regulation, executive functioning, visual-motor skills, and sensory-based feeding. She has extensive experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, developmental delays, and complex medical needs, with a strong emphasis on caregiver education and coaching.

She is passionate about helping children build meaningful, everyday skills and values collaboration with families, educators, and care teams to create supportive, responsive environments where children feel understood and capable. Outside of work, Julianne enjoys spending time with her two daughters—her youngest is pursuing a degree in occupational therapy, and her oldest enjoys traveling the country for her work.

Sharing some marble run fun we have been having at Bloom & Grow in OT and Speech! Visual input can be very regulating and regulation supports communication. 💬

When kids feel more organized and grounded, it opens the door for connection, engagement, and expression.

Building activities like marble runs are full of opportunities for language and interaction. As kids create together, they’re:
• problem solving
• sharing ideas
• asking for help
• building joint attention
• experiencing shared joy

Across OT and Speech sessions, these are the moments where communication grows in natural, meaningful ways.

Completely surprised by the crew today. 💛Feeling very lucky to do this work with people like this.

We need your help! We've just launched a new community survey; and, we'd love your insights.

We're presenting a talk for Autism Level UP! Month (aka April) entitled "What the Autistic Community Wishes You Really Knew this April" and we'd love to know how you'd answer that question.

It's a quick Google Survey. You can find it here : https://forms.gle/AdMEgpVXp8HzUq2k8

We hope you'll take as much or as little time as you can contribute to answer :)

We are asking Autistic people to contribute their knowledge and perspectives as part of the Autistic Community. We are also asking allistic people connected to the community to contribute their perspectives as part of the broader Autism Community.

Thanks for helping us Level UP! our perspective and knowledge base. We look forward to reading your responses and really do hope we'll be able to generate and post some useful tools for the community at large based upon our collective efforts. ❤️💛
