This Patient Experience Week, we’re celebrating the moments that help patients regain independence and confidence 💙

At Lorien Mount Airy in Mount Airy, Maryland, an ADL group focused on real-life skills like grooming, dressing, and hygiene, giving patients the opportunity to practice, problem-solve, and support one another along the way. With the right level of guidance and encouragement, participants built both functional skills and meaningful connections.

Because great patient experiences aren’t just about care, they’re about empowering people to get back to the moments that matter most.

What better way to celebrate than by sharing what makes it important. We are so proud and honored to be able to share this with our communities and partners!

April is Occupational Therapy Month, and we were so glad to celebrate with our residents! 💙

A big thank you to Tiffany from Powerback Rehabilitation for taking the time to meet with a group of our residents and share what occupational therapy truly entails. From supporting daily activities to helping individuals maintain independence and improve quality of life, it was an informative and engaging session for everyone who attended.

We appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the important role occupational therapy plays and are grateful to Tiffany for her time, knowledge, and dedication!
