Today 9/11 is a day many of us will always remember. It was a tragic day for America and all of the families of everyone impacted, all because of a set of people had differing beliefs.

Yesterday was another tragic day for America and a family that will never be whole again, all because someone disagreed with a man who was not afraid to express his beliefs.

For so long, I have kept my business (and personal for that matter) social media accounts as clear from my political and religious beliefs. Last night after I told my wife and little girl I loved them and good night (yes the 8 year old was in our bed😭) I said my prayers and decided to wait till today to make these posts.

Before I was even involved Cornerstone Pharmacy was created. And the inspiration for the name and the business model comes from Ephesians 2:20. “20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone” I had nothing to do with that decision but I am glad I ended up there and now am part owner of such a company. With that being said and clarified from this day on I will not be scared of offending someone because of my political or religious beliefs, I will not be scared of losing customers or business because of it, I will practice my freedoms of speech and religion as I see fit in my business. And I sincerely hope everyone reading this and every business owner in the world does the same.

Out of the hundreds of social media posts I have read today and yesterday, someone said “Real men aren’t afraid to stand up for their beliefs”. That is a motto that I am going to strive to live for daily. Jesus and the apostles were real men and they definitely weren’t afraid to stand up for their beliefs. I am not sure there is a greater role model than that.

So as a conservative, father, husband, son, brother, Christian, pharmacist, business owner. I am encouraging you to not be ashamed to proclaim your faith and beliefs, get your life right with the Lord, hug your loved ones tight, because we never know what the future holds.

This involves anyone that pays insurance premiums, pays copays for medications, has ever been denied a prescription due to coverage limits or formulary, has ever been told which pharmacy they can/cannot use, been forced to mail order, etc.

Our local senator has heard from me, and I believe he is on our side regarding this bill, but it would be nice if he heard from some more people as well.

Also, I feel that we need as many people as possible to contact Missouri senate leadership. I feel like there are some in leadership that are blocking this from happening quite possibly because they have been influenced by some large PBM's in Missouri.
