Meet Kayla ✨ Our newest Bikram Yoga teacher!

Kayla first walked through our studio doors as a dedicated student back in 2010. After a couple of years of consistent practice (and falling in love with the yoga and studio), she joined our trade for yoga cleaning crew, and became a part of the yoga family.
Her yoga journey took her around the world —she immersed herself in teacher trainings in Hawaii, Peru, and Costa Rica, exploring all aspects of yoga — before her longtime dream of becoming a Bikram Yoga teacher finally came true. In June 2025 she graduated from the official Bikram Yoga Teacher training in Thailand.

Come meet Kayla and take her class. Her welcoming energy and strong yet smooth voice , clear instructions and intuitive guidance will keep you coming back to practice again and again.

Not only does she teach but she does much behind the scenes keeping the studio running smoothly, and she does without expectation of reciprocation. A true yogi at her core.

Kayla does most things from her heart and you can feel it when you meet her. She’s an animal lover, a friend you can depend on, and one of the chillest people you will meet. When she’s not teaching you can find her practicing, managing , hanging out with her animals, chilling in her garden, and listening to good music.

We love you Kayla and we’re so thankful for you. You’re the best!

We are gifting early this year and would like to announce that until further notice starting December 1st, every Monday evening at 6:30pm is a free community class. Not just the first Monday of every month, but every Monday, every week at 6:30pm we are offering a free community 90 min original hot yoga Bikram class. We can’t wait to see you there!

Ashley, co owner of BYTC since 2007 with her sister Angie, was a former gymnast & dancer and found healing in yoga’s movement and stillness. She became a teacher in 2002. Ashley’s from the heart teaching is compassionate, intentional,& precise , with a slow steady style and detailed corrections. 🏆 Award winner in international yoga asana Competitions. World Champion in 2006.
Wife, Mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend…and exceptional baker of sourdough and treats. 🍰
Catch her teaching this week on Tuesday (21st) and Friday (24th) at 9:30am and Sunday (26th) at 10am .
