As we come out of the Thanksgiving season—a time to reflect on all we’ve been given and all we’ve worked hard to build—I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude.

Our practice has been truly blessed this year. We’ve seen a remarkable surge of referrals from fellow providers, as well as an outpouring of word-of-mouth recommendations from our patients to their families and friends. There is no greater compliment than the trust you place in us and the belief you show in the work we do.

Just because you’re in pain doesn’t mean your trip has to suffer. A little planning can minimize discomfort:

• A travel pillow or rolled towel can make a world of difference on long drives or flights.

• Stretch and walk around every hour or two to avoid stiffness.

• Staying hydrated helps calm inflammation and keeps joints happy.

• Pay attention to aches—if it hurts, give yourself permission to rest or modify your plans.��

And if your pain is so severe that you can’t even consider traveling this summer, give us a call. We’ll find the source of the pain so that it can be fixed and you can once again entertain the idea of travel.

We get it. You're in pain, but getting to a doctor's appointment is nearly impossible when you work 4/10s in a remote part of the Hanford Site.

With that in mind, we've structured our schedule to accommodate yours!

When you call to make an appointment, tell the receptionist that you work at Hanford and would like a Friday appointment. She'll make it happen—and quickly.
