Event Description:
Ready to hit the ultimate "reset button"? Join us for an afternoon of deep relaxation and soul-level self-care. 🧘✨

We’ll begin with Restorative Yoga, using bolsters and blankets to settle into total stillness. This practice is designed to move your body into "rest and digest" mode, allowing your nervous system to fully decompress.

Following the movement, you’ll transition into a Sound Bath Immersion. Simply lie down and let the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls and gongs wash over you. It’s a meditative journey that promotes mental clarity, stress release, and the best night’s sleep you’ve had in ages.

No experience is necessary—just bring yourself and a desire to unwind.
Space is limited! Reserve your spot at the link below:

NEW! Tuesday Evening Yin Yoga 🧘
| 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM (Mar 3, 10, 17, 24, 31)
The ultimate "reset" for your nervous system. This class targets deep relief for the hips, hamstrings, and lower back. By holding passive poses longer, we reach the deep connective tissues—fascia and ligaments—teaching your body how to truly soften and relax after a long day.

Wednesday Morning All-Levels Yoga 🌷
| 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM (Mar 3,10, 17, 24, 31)
Strengthen your body and soothe your mind. This session is designed to help you feel centered and resilient for the rest of your week.

Saturday Morning All-Levels Yoga🍹
| 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM (Mar 7, 14, 21, 28)
Designed to help you strengthen your body and soothe your mind. This is your dedicated time to center yourself before the weekend rush, leaving you feeling balanced, resilient, and ready for the week ahead.

Sunday, March 29: Restorative Yoga 🍷| 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
To the woman doing it all: This is your permission to do absolutely nothing. If you’re feeling "tired but wired" from the career hustle and family schedules, come let your nervous system finally exhale. The ultimate self-care. Use bolsters and blankets to settle into total stillness. It’s "rest and digest" mode for your soul.

DRINK OF THE DAY: TART CHERRY KOMBUCHA!😋

Kombucha is a fermented tea rich in probiotics, antioxidants, and organic acids that support digestive health, boost the immune system, and reduce inflammation. It promotes a healthy gut microbiome, aids in detoxification, and may improve heart health by balancing cholesterol levels.

Key benefits of drinking kombucha include:

Enhanced Gut Health: Packed with probiotics (beneficial bacteria) and enzymes, it helps balance the gut microbiome, which can improve digestion and reduce bloating.

Immune System Support: Roughly 80% of the immune system resides in the gut, and the probiotics in kombucha help strengthen this natural defense.

Rich in Antioxidants: Derived from tea, it contains polyphenols that fight free radicals, reduce inflammation, and may protect against cell damage.

Potential Detoxification: The fermentation process produces acetic acid (also found in apple cider vinegar) and other compounds that support liver function and detoxification.

Energy and Mood Boost: It contains B vitamins and trace caffeine, which can provide a natural energy lift. The gut-brain connection also means a healthy gut can contribute to better mental well-being.

Heart Health: Some studies suggest it can improve LDL (bad) and HDL (good) cholesterol levels.

Monday is MLK day. It is a day of remembrance for Martin Luther King Jr. whose beliefs centered on racial equality, nonviolent resistance, and a "Beloved Community" where all people are treated with respect. He challenged systemic injustice through love and peaceful protest.

King's call for justice mirrors the yogic principle of Ahimsa (अहिंसा), meaning "non-harming" or "nonviolence,"which extends to thoughts, words, and actions, emphasizing divine love and refraining from all pain.

How Ahimsa Applies in Your Practice

*Respect Your Body's Limits: Avoid pushing into painful positions; honor your body's current state, choosing comfort over ego.
*Gentle Transitions: Move mindfully between poses, avoiding abrupt or forceful movements that could cause strain.
*Mindful Self-Talk: Replace self-criticism and judgment with inner kindness and acceptance, recognizing the "negative emotions don't serve you".
*Compassionate Focus: Use the breath and presence to radiate love and kindness, even in challenging poses.
*Non-Comparison: Let go of comparing your practice to others, focusing on your own inner growth and experience.

Ahimsa Beyond the Mat

Thoughts & Speech: Be mindful of your internal dialogue and how you speak to others, avoiding negativity and harshness.
Actions & Lifestyle: Consider how your choices (food, interactions, environmental impact) affect other beings.
Active Compassion: Ahimsa isn't just passive; it's an active expression of love and benevolence, fostering harmony with all.
