"The most meaningful and rewarding part of my career has been the ability to make an impact on others—both through patient care and mentorship," says Mary Miller, R.NCS.T, CNCT, R.EEG.T, RPSGT, RST.

As Cadwell's Global Manager of Clinical Education and KOL Engagement, Mary has always been driven by a continuous desire to grow, learn, and educate others in neurodiagnostics. She pours into others by leading clinical workshops and teaching cutting-edge techniques. That same commitment has carried her into leadership as past president of the Mid-Atlantic Neurodiagnostic Society and AAET, and as a member of the ASET Board of Trustees. A common thread runs through her work: uncovering potential, inspiring others, and empowering belief.

During we're proud to celebrate her journey in neurodiagnostics and dedication to others.

"I have learned that success in this field goes beyond technical skill," Mary shares. "It is about understanding the 'why' behind what we do, supporting others, and always keeping the patient at the center of it all. Each step in my journey has reinforced that growth comes from both experience and the willingness to continue learning."

Research shows that insomnia, REM sleep behavior disorder, obstructive sleep apnea, sleep fragmentation, and altered sleep architecture are all linked to neurodegeneration.

On April 15, at 10:00 a.m. PT, join Mikal Williams, RPSGT, BSBA; and Jeffrey Iliff, PhD, for a deep dive into how sleep disorders influence neurodegenerative disorders. You'll learn:

🟣 The latest research on the likely mechanisms of brain damage

🟣 How the glymphatic system should function during sleep and wake, and what can happen during sleep-linked dysfunction

🟣 Whether sleep serves as a modifiable risk factor for neurodegeneration
