It’s Monday, December 1st, and as we step into the season of gratitude and connection, we are honored to share that The Sharing Center has once again been chosen as the beneficiary of the 2025 KABA Holiday Social.

The Kenosha Area Business Alliance (KABA) brings together local leaders, businesses, and community members for an evening filled with good company, warm conversation, and the spirit of giving. This event is a reminder of what makes our community special — people coming together to support one another.

Wednesday, December 3, 2025
5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Upper East | 622 58th St, Kenosha, WI 53140
$25 per person

A portion of the proceeds from this event directly supports the work we do every day for Western Kenosha County residents. From nutrition and food security programs to emergency shelter, rent and utility assistance, employment resources, and ongoing advocacy, these funds help us meet families where they are and walk alongside them toward stability and hope.

We are deeply grateful to KABA and to every person who chooses to show up, contribute, and care. Your presence truly makes a difference.

We hope you can join us. Please register by Friday, November 28 using the link below.

Together, we continue to strengthen the foundation of our community.

With many concerned about what's to come in November, I wanted to share some information for those who made need a little extra help during the upcoming winter months. These are just a few places that I know of locally who provide help to those in need.

For those who are able, I would encourage you to add an extra item or three to your shopping list and donate to a local food pantry. Even the smallest of donations is better than none at all! If that isn't in your budget, please consider volunteering to help others. Many organizations can use that help too!

Our office will continue to support these organizations and may add a drop box for anyone interested in adding donation items for these pantries.

Please feel free to add any additional locations in the comments below

🎁 **Holiday Gift & Meal Programs Are Here!** 🎄

For more than **43 years**, The Sharing Center has been spreading holiday joy to children and families across Western Kenosha County. Each year, the need continues to grow—especially as winter brings extra challenges for many of our neighbors.

Last year alone, nearly **2,500 people** received a full holiday feast thanks to the generosity of our incredible community. But with need rising again this season, we’re asking for your help to ensure that every family can enjoy the warmth of a meal and the magic of a gift this holiday season.

✨ **How You Can Help:**
🍗 **Holiday Meal Donations:** Provide the ingredients for a complete family feast. [Follow this link for details.] https://www.thesharingcenter.net/holidaydonation
🎁 **Winter Wonderland Gifts:** Help us fill our Winter Wonderland with presents for 900 local children—an increase of 54% since 2020! [Follow this link for details.] https://www.thesharingcenter.net/holidaydonation
💵 **Monetary Donations:** Every dollar goes directly toward our most immediate needs.
👕 **Gift Tip:** We love multiples! Think 5 sets of pajamas, 10 games, or adult-sized clothing for teens.

Every donation—big or small—creates lasting memories for local families in need. A child in need at Christmas is a child in need all year long, and your kindness helps us bring hope long after the holidays are over.

❤️ From all of us at The Sharing Center, thank you for keeping the spirit of giving alive this season.

'Tis the season to make a difference.
