Our funeral home building will be closed beginning at 2:30pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, as our entire team gathers for an afternoon of staff development and professional education.

This is a rare occasion for us to close our doors during business hours, but we are doing so with one purpose in mind: to continue learning and growing together so that we can serve our families and our community even better.

This week, four members of the Piasecki Funeral Home team spent time in Chicago at the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Convention and Expo.

Funeral Director and Owner, Matt Martin, attended the full conference and educational sessions, and on Tuesday, Pat Ryan (Facilities and Fleet), Patty Santiago (Office Manager), and Ron Nelson (Preneed Specialist) joined him to experience the expo and see what is new in the profession.

Each of them came home with new ideas, fresh perspectives, and a shared goal: to serve our community even better. At Piasecki Funeral Home, we believe learning never stops. We attend events like this because we want to stay informed, inspired, and equipped to care for families in the best possible ways, especially when they are going through the hardest times.

We are proud to call Kenosha home and grateful for every opportunity to grow in how we serve it.
