For the fourth year in a row, we were invited to the classroom of Ms. Jennifer Milligan at Roosevelt Elementary School to share a little bit about the role of therapy dogs, not only at the funeral home, but in our community too. The 4K, 5K, and 5th Grade students were amazing, kind, polite, and asked so many great questions!  Thank you for letting us be a part of your learning, and thanks for the great pets and treats too 🐾🖤

Thank to everyone for all of the birthday wishes! I am so blessed to feel all of this love and for the chance to give back some pup love every day. I spent the night at home with my family, and in front of the fireplace with my sisters after enjoying a healthy birthday treat. I’m a lucky girl 🖤

As the year comes to a close, many people choose to make a special year-end donation, and I wanted to share a cause that is very close to my heart.

My sister, K9 Tesla, served with courage and love, and her legacy lives on through the K9 Tesla Foundation. The foundation honors working K9s, supports their handlers, and helps advance public safety therapy dog work that brings comfort, healing, and hope to people when they need it most.

Dad and I have been deeply inspired by my sissy and my Uncle Matthew. Their journey helped guide us as we’ve grown our own therapy dog program at Piasecki Funeral Home, where I get to serve families during some of their hardest days. I know that I wouldn’t be who I am today without the example they set.

My sister’s legacy lives on through all of the work my Uncle Matthew has done. We are now a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and I can’t wait to see all of the good we will create for public safety professionals.

K-9 Tesla Foundation, a nonprofit supporting public safety therapy dog programs, was inspired by K-9 Tesla's service and aims to provide financial support.

What an incredible weekend with my big sister, Gabby! I got to walk beside her at the Homecoming Assembly, share cuddles and love at the First Annual Tailgate Party, and cheer the Kenosha Bradford Football Team on to a Homecoming victory!!

The absolute best part.... Gabby being crowned as the Kenosha Bradford High School 2025 Homecoming Queen! You can feel all the love, excitement, and pride from everyone who adores her. Gabby truly shines with her heart and her smile, and I am so proud to be by her side for such an unforgettable weekend.

Last night I traded my comfy bed and rug in front of the fireplace at Piasecki Funeral Home for the big lights and cheers of the Bradford Red Devils football game. My sister Gabby and her Bradford cheer team were rocking brand-new uniforms and guess what?..... I got one too!

I got all the pets and belly rubs from cheerleaders, student rowdies, and football fans galore. My humans, Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa were there too, cheering and wagging right alongside me.

Usually I spend my time bringing comfort and love at the funeral home, but last night I got to bring those same happy vibes to a whole new place full of cheering, laughter, and fun. It felt so good to share joy with everyone there.

One of my favorite hoomans is going to be the Bat Girl for the Kenosha Kingfish on Wednesday, August 6 at 6:35 PM at Historic Simmons Field!

My Gabby girl is one of the kindest and bravest people I know, and she is a HUUUUUUUUUGE baseball fan. I’m SO proud of her. The Piasecki Funeral Home family will be there cheering her on and I hope you will be too.

I’m not sure when the tryouts for Bat DOG are being held but, until then, I’ll learn a few pointers from my girl.

Tell your friends, your grandma, your mail carrier…. and let’s pack the stands and make Gabby feel all the love this community has to offer 🖤🐾
