Fat Tuesday at St. Catherine’s Independent Living was an absolute blast!

We turned the day into a full celebration of flavor, culture, and community. The Kenosha Library joined us for a special visit and surprised everyone with warm, delicious paczkis that set the tone for a fantastic afternoon.

Residents jumped right into learning about vibrant Polish traditions, swapping stories, and collecting new Polish-style recipes to try. The laughter, the conversations, and the excitement made the whole event unforgettable.

We captured plenty of great moments—here are some fun photos from our lively Fat Tuesday celebration.
