Everlastin' Epsilon Gammas

Everlastin' Epsilon Gammas Everlastin' Epsilon Chapter is an entity of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. We are located at University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Carthage College.

In November of 1997, the interest group received word that they had officially been accepted as the UW-Parkside Petitioning Group of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc., thus, becoming the FIRST Latina-based Sorority established on campus and in Wisconsin. On April 24, 1998, The Epsilon Charter at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside was born and officially recognized as a Charter of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority. The two determined women left from what was once twelve, had completed the initiation process and accomplished their dream. Hermana Erica "Payasa" Davalos and Hermana Tanya "Muneca" Demairas are respectively recognized as Epsilon Chapter Founding Mothers. The second step was to extend their family, so on September 30th, 1998 at approximately 11:15 am Hermana Jessica "Alma" Bernal and Hermana Gabriela "Chispas" Anaya were welcomed into Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority Epsilon Charter as Epsilon Charters. It was two days later on October 2nd, 1998 that these ladies traveled to Phoenix, Arizona gained Chapter Status and officially Founded what is now known as the Everlastin' Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. Since then, we have grown hence having numerous sisters of different backgrounds, as well as at Carthage College. We are a service sorority dedicated to the needs of the community. Society draws its strength and vitality from the diversity of its people. Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. is enriched by building a sisterhood that celebrates and draws upon the talents of all its members. does not discrimination based upon race, color, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, marital status, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other basis of discrimination precluded by federal and state statues. does not condone any form of hazing. It is contrary to the purpose of a sorority and does not represent what a sisterhood is. We also believe that everyone should be a part of the "college experience"; we encourage all student (greek or non-greek) to experience "college life" through involvement on campus, joining student organizations or clubs, meeting and networking with new people, and taking pride in academics and service. Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. recognizes Education with a focus on Mentoring Youth as its official philanthropy. We recognize the value of role models and mentorship, as undergraduates and alumnae. Our sisterhood is committed to personal success as well as outreach efforts in the community.
