Justice has been served in a truly disturbing case out of West Virginia. Donald Ray Lantz and Jeanne Kay Whitefeather have been sentenced to a combined 375 years in prison after being found guilty of human trafficking, civil rights violations, and child neglect. ⚖️
The couple was arrested after authorities found five Black children they had adopted living in horrific conditions, forced to perform farm labor and kept in a small shed without plumbing or proper food. The judge handed down the maximum sentence, ensuring the pair will likely spend the rest of their lives behind bars.
