This workshop is intended to evoke deeper connection, awareness, and compassion for yourself, those in your life, and those in the world who need love and kindness. Using the physical body, you will link breath with movement to create an active meditation. We will utilize the metta meditation method of first directing loving kindness, health, happiness, and strength to yourself, then to someone you feel deep gratitude towards, someone you don’t know, someone who brings you conflict, and then to those in the world who are suffering and need love. This 90 minute practice will involve asana movement, guided meditation in movement, and deep breath awareness.
