Let's Get Produce Into Our Communities!!!

Good evening everyone!
I am so pleased to invite you to participate in a very special activity with JCS.
We have partnered with EastWest Food Rescue to bring farm fresh produce to our communities and tomorrow is our first event!
Boxes of produce will be delivered to the JCS training center tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 13 and you are invited to come collect a box or two. This program's requirement is simple: use it.
Here's what you need to know:
1. You must be able to come pick up the box(es) and take it away yourself. (Address is 34617 11th Ave. S. #301, Federal Way, WA 98003)
2. Pick up hours are 11am - 3pm (or until all boxes are gone)
3. Use what is in the box for yourself and/or your family.
4. If there are leftovers, give it to individuals/families you know are in need.
5. If there is still food left over, donate it to your local foodbank.

If all of this sounds like something you want to be part of, all you have to do is show up!

If you work for an organization that provides meals or food to participants, come get a box or two.

If you work for an assisted living facility where residents have their own fridge/kitchen, come pick up a few boxes for the residents.

Our goal is to put the food directly into the hands of our loved ones, neighbors, and community members we know need it and to encourage you to partner with our community food banks.

Jones Community Solutions is a Peer owned and operated social enterprise. We provide consultations and trainings for communities, businesses, organizations and individuals interested in applying the Peer Philosophy to their everyday lives and social interactions. We also provide a community to belong to and a variety of ways to get involved. With a focus on identifying culture(s) and how to effectively interact with others, all of our trainings are tailored to fit your needs. Our goals are to provide both short-term and long-term solutions to community challenges and to provide opportunities for education and growth for community members and organizations alike. Seminars, workshops, community hospitality services, and offering opportunities to engage in community activities are how we achieve these goals.
