Kelly's Grief Center

Kelly's is a non-profit dedicated to providing compassionate grief and mental health support for those in need through counseling, community programs, and education. Grief is a universal emotion, one that can overwhelm children as well as adults. When we lose a loved one, there are many feelings that may need to be processed – including feelings of sorrow, loneliness, and anger. Kelly’s Grief Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that was founded in 2009 to provide support and counseling by licensed clinicians for adults, teens and children grieving the loss of a loved one. Kelly’s is committed to making sure help will be accessible and of the highest professional quality. The center serves individuals of all ages and offers support through both one-on-one counseling and/or therapy groups. These groups are designed to provide a safe and supportive setting for people to share their loss journey, gain knowledge about grief and learn helpful coping strategies. Sometimes grief doesn’t follow the rules people expect 🤍
It doesn’t arrive neatly, and it doesn’t leave on schedule.
You can miss them and still laugh at something small.
You can feel empty and grateful in the same breath.
You can cry in the quiet and smile when a memory finds you unexpectedly.
None of that means you’re doing it wrong.
It means you loved deeply — and love doesn’t disappear just because someone is gone.
This season may feel heavier than others.
Certain days might ache more than you prepared for.
And some moments will surprise you with warmth when you least expect it 🌲
Let yourself feel it all.
The tears.
The memories.
The longing.
The soft, fragile hope that still shows up anyway.
Grief isn’t something you “fix.”
It’s something you learn to carry — gently, slowly, in your own way.
So if today you’re quiet, that’s okay.
If today you smile through tears, that’s okay.
If today all you can do is remember, that’s more than enough 🕯️
There is no wrong way to feel.
Only your way.
And it is valid.

As the year comes to an end, grief doesn’t follow the calendar. 🤍

New Year’s can bring pressure to celebrate, reflect, or “move forward” — but if you’re grieving, it’s okay to meet this moment exactly where you are. You don’t need resolutions. You don’t need silver linings. You just need space, compassion, and permission to carry your grief with you into the next year.

Whether this season feels heavy, quiet, or somewhere in between, you’re not doing it wrong. You don’t have to rush healing — one moment at a time is enough.
