It’s about more than just safety—it’s about showing up for the communities where we live and work.
After Whatcom County in northern Washington was impacted by devastating floods last week, National Safety’s Bellingham Branch Manager, Karla Jones, partnered with BP Cherry Point to help deliver much-needed relief and supplies to those affected.
What has followed is an incredible outpouring of generosity and support from our Affiliated Distributors (AD) network and other trusted partners. Thanks to the collective efforts of so many, more than a dozen pallets of supplies have already been delivered to emergency responders and flood victims in the area.
We’d like to take a moment to recognize the individuals and organizations who made this possible:
Radians – Matt Lee, Bill England, and Alan Sheppard and Gene Besel
Northcoast Sales Agency – Gene Besel (extra thanks for coordinating all of this while on vacation)
Allegro Industries – JM Maayoufi and Alex Hebert
Streamlight, Inc.light – Danny Williams and Scott Kesler
FallTech – Joshua Bacon-Revord
PIP Global Safety – Reid Dunlap
MSA – Derek Edwards
Majestic Glove – John Hartnett
First Aid Only – Navarro Dorsett
FedEx – even on one of the busiest days of the year, they stepped up to provide a driver and ensure deliveries arrived today instead of next week
Karla Jones, Brandon Turner and Dustin Hayes – outreach, coordination, pickup and delivery – Team Bellingham has been there every step of the way
We are incredibly grateful to the BP Cherry Point Refinery, our Affiliated Distributor partners, and every individual who played a role in supporting these relief efforts. Your generosity and teamwork truly made a difference. This is not just a moment of response, but an ongoing effort to stand alongside our neighbors as they rebuild and recover.
