At Real Hope for Haiti, the clinic is open 24/7 for emergencies. Patients with serious lacerations arrive at all hours, and every nurse is trained to provide skilled suturing care.

This past year, sutures have been difficult to obtain. We’re grateful that Gateway Medical Alliance could help supply donated sutures—meeting a critical need and bringing real hope through practical care.

Gateway Medical Alliance Announcement

Gateway Medical Alliance is proud to share that our Executive Director, Greg Plett, received the 2025 Champion Award for the South End this past Sunday evening at Liberty Road Foundation's 18th Annual Partners Vision Banquet.

Greg faithfully serves Liberty Road Foundation as the Central Area Leader and as a Facilitator for the Kent, Renton, and International Leadership Groups. His commitment to serving our community and strengthening partnerships continues to make a meaningful impact locally and globally.

Following the presentation of the award, David Knight, GMA Board Member who was in attendance, notified Dr. Spiger, who responded, “We’re grateful to have Greg as our Executive Director.”

Week of February 3rd

Due to the weather and road conditions across our region, Gateway Medical Alliance will be operating on a limited schedule this week for sorting and packing in the warehouse. We encourage you to follow the guidance of your local school district and the Kent School District when deciding whether to travel to the warehouse. Volunteers can contact Judy for schedule updates.

Additionally, we kindly ask that all donations of medical supplies be postponed until Tuesday, February 11th, between 9:00 AM – Noon.
