Majestic Care of Kent proudly donated a Christmas tree to the Akron Tree Festival! 🎄💜 All proceeds from the festival support children in need, helping them get the care and resources they deserve.

Our community had a meaningful Veterans Day celebration, and we’re so proud to honor our heroes in several ways! 🇺🇸💙 We joined the Western Reserve Senior Coalition for a special celebration, held a program right here with our residents, and even had a few of our residents attend a Veterans ceremony and breakfast at St. Patrick’s Church.

It was a wonderful day filled with gratitude, reflection, and appreciation for all who have served!

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻 Staying healthy during all the spooky fun starts with good hand hygiene! Be sure to wash your hands after using the restroom and before and after eating—even when enjoying candy!

Proper handwashing: Wet your hands, lather with soap, and scrub for 20–30 seconds (hum “Happy Birthday” twice!). Rinse, dry, and turn off the faucet with a paper towel. Using hand sanitizer? Make sure it’s at least 60% alcohol and rub until dry.

We want to wish everyone a safe, fun-filled, and germ-free Halloween! 🧡

It’s International Infection Prevention Week! 🧼💙 Did you know there are on average 3,200 germs on your hands? Many seniors, especially those in long-term care, are immunocompromised, making them more vulnerable to infections—one of the leading causes of illness and death in older adults.

Practicing proper hand hygiene can reduce germs by up to 92%, helping keep our residents safe and healthy!
