We have honored our Veterans for three days straight! Special thanks to the cadets at Oak Ridge Military Academy who joined us for the color guard and a rifle exhibition! We heard the songs for each branch of the military and had an opportunity to visit with the cadets after their performance. It was a very special day!

Our Veteran's Day activities started with the Veteran's Day Parade in downtown Kernersville. Kids of all ages came out to honor those who served and it was a treat to see. How fortunate we are to be surrounded by men such as these!

We gathered together to create some new jewelry! Some worked together, some created new pieces for themselves, and others as gifts! It was a fun opportunity to get crafty!

Building relationships in the community is great fun, especially when ice cream is involved! Glenn High School's Interact Club served our residents Ice Cream Sundaes and stayed to visit and clean up! We look forward to another visit! 😀🍦

Getting out in the community is a special treat! We visited Hanes Auditorium for a performance of Haunts, Howls and Harmony and they did not disappoint! Lots of great music and it was even more special because we ran into long time friends!
