✨ Celebrating Our OT Fieldwork Student, Stephanie! ✨
Today we want to share our appreciation for Stephanie, who has spent the last part of her OT journey with us here at Propel Pediatric Therapy. She joined us from Lenoir-Rhyne University, and from day one, she brought compassion, curiosity, and a genuine heart for the kids we serve.
When asked why she chose Occupational Therapy, she shared that she has always been drawn to helping others, and when she learned what OT truly was, it just clicked. The idea of using creativity and connection to help people live meaningful lives felt exactly right — and it shows in her work every day.
Her favorite part of her time at Propel was working hands-on with the kids and watching them grow and progress, session by session. She shared that she’ll always remember the small but special moments, especially the hugs, the joy, and the relationships she built here.
During her fieldwork, she discovered a new passion for feeding therapy, learning alongside Amber and gaining skills she’s excited to continue building on in her future practice. She also found her stride in sensory play and obstacle courses, making sessions fun, meaningful, and full of confidence-building moments.
When asked to describe her experience here, she chose:
Memorable and inspiring.
We couldn’t agree more.
Her hope moving forward is to continue growing into the pediatric OT she is meant to be. One who makes a positive and lasting impact on children’s lives. And we have no doubt she will.
Thank you, Stephanie, for your kindness, your creativity, and the love you shared with our families. You will always be part of our Propel family.
